Dr. Son is a dedicated and compassionate dentist with a patient-centered approach. She is committed to providing personalized and gentle care to individuals and families. Dr. Son received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Master of Science in Physiology from Virginia Commonwealth University before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from VCU School of Dentistry. Committed to lifelong learning, she has also completed advanced training in implant surgery and Invisalign. Dr. Son believes in a holistic approach to dental care, emphasizing the importance of understanding each patient's unique needs and goals. She is passionate about educating patients on the importance of oral health as part of overall wellness and is dedicated to staying abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry to provide the highest standard of care.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Son spends time with her husband, Andrew and their two children, Sophia and Elias. She enjoys reading, playing tennis, cooking, baking, and sipping a good cup of coffee. Dr. Son looks forward to welcoming you and your family to our practice. She is here to support your journey to achieving and maintaining optimal oral health.
The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding. You are greeted with a warm smile by the front desk team, my hygienist was fantastic and of course Dr. Madalena is awesome! See you guys in 6 months for my next cleaning.
Everyone is always friendly and very personable. Julie and Cindy are like friends when I come. My first visit with Dr. Madalena was pleasant and she was reassuring regarding my concern with my teeth. Dr. Jacob in past visit also was easy to talk to. All staff make the appointment pleasant.
Everyone at sycamore dentistry is amazing. Always on a first name basis, im relatively late but it’s no worries. Small business but very knowledgeable. Thank you for really good people. Doctor Madalena and Sheppard are amazing :). Front desk and friends are so welcoming. I recommend and am so grateful they’re down the street from my home.
